You will be helping Private Vacations expand their offerings to a wider audience by proactively seeking new clients and business opportunities. As a Business Development Representative, you will be the face of our company and be an important part of the Private Vacations team. This is a role for a driven sales oriented professional. Below is a list of the things that you will be expected to do.

Network with professionals and potential clients. Use your interpersonal skills to create valuable partnerships and interactions with real estate professionals, vacation homeowners and business owners. Find creative ways to get in front of the right people to create sales opportunities.

Utilize the CRM to maximize your efficiency and output. Utilize our CRM and other tools to find prospective clients. Think outside the box to come up with creative ways to engage with new clients and spend your time on the highest priorities.

Engage with existing clients to ensure their success. You will be responsible for interacting with your clients and ensuring their success. Asking the right questions and finding the right ways to engage with them on a regular basis will ensure the longevity of the contract.

Every Private Vacations Business Development Representative acts as a mentor, coach, and sponsor. You will share your technical knowledge and experiences, resulting in an increase in learning, growth, and impact within and beyond your team.

The Experience You’ll Need

  • Excitement to learn the parts of our marketing and property management business.
  • Experience collaborating with others to successfully onboard new clients.
  • A people-first mindset to treat our clients and colleagues with respect. We prioritize the needs of our clients and our coworkers.
  • Recommended 2+ – year degree from an accredited University with an emphasis in business and or marketing or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years experience in sales or customer service
  • Ability and willingness to be available to your clients when necessary outside of normal working hours.
  • Working knowledge of excel and  lead management systems
  • Project management experience is recommended
  • Ability to compose emails and communicate with prospective clients
  • Ability to handle issues with an owner’s mindset.
  • Project management: ability to onboard new clients and follow through

Our headquarters is in Bountiful, Utah. We have onsite offices at the properties we manage in Peru, St. George, UT and Kauai, HI. Private Vacations has a long history in the hospitality and marketing industry. We manage boutique hotels, lodges, vacation rentals and eco lodges. We have an in-house online marketing team that specializes in hospitality marketing. We are a diverse team with a wealth of experience.
